"Welcome to the California Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon here at Occidental College in Los Angeles. Founded on March 7, 1931, we are the longest standing men’s fraternity on campus. Our members are well-immersed in campus sports and activities, participating in sports like basketball and golf while also holding leadership roles in clubs on campus such as the exclusive Blythe Fund, the Future Business Leaders of America, and the Neighborhood Partnership Program. Our 24 member fraternity is advised by former Oxy brothers of SAE Jesus Maldonado (‘99) and Charles Moran (’03).

What is so hard to articulate in a short paragraph such as this is the sense of community that exists within this house. We have collectively created an environment of deep understanding and support that has been conducive to some incredible friendships. I have had the honor of witnessing my fellow brothers grow as individuals and become more confident in every way, and I firmly believe that this is a direct result of the general feeling that as a brother of this fraternity, you absolutely never walk alone."
